Man arrested after cannabis and cash seized |
||
|
A man has been arrested after we seized cannabis and cash in Cannock. Officers stopped a car in the area yesterday (Thursday 23 October) and searched a man. We seized cannabis and £350 in cash. A house in the area was then searched, and officers seized a number of snap bags and a further £2,960 in cash. A 30-year-old man, from Cannock, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis and drug driving. He has since been released under investigation whilst our enquiries continue. As part of Operation Target, we’ve arrested more than 350 people on suspicion of high harm offences like drug dealing and criminal exploitation in the last 12-months alone – and more will be coming. | ||
